TA Development workshops next week!

Dr. Kara Penfield, UM's Director of Academic Assessment, and I will be co-facilitating workshops on "Assessment 101."

Why should you attend?

1. Assessment is a key part of teaching at all levels.

2. Having an understanding of assessment will make you more marketable--simply because all colleges and universities are mandated to do assess, and too few individuals know what the process entails.

3. Instructors and faulty members at all institutional types are increasingly called upon to assist with assessment and accreditation efforts, and individual instructors are often expected to embed their program's learning outcomes in their curriculum and even measure students' levels of attainment.

This interactive workshop will provide an overview of assessment and corresponding expectations for faculty members.

Seating is limited, so use these links to register ASAP:

Monday, April 4 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. -
