Tenure Track Assistant Professorship

The División de Historia at CIDE invites applications for the equivalent of a tenure track assistant professorship in comparative history to begin in August 2011. Research specialization, period and country expertise are open to Asian and African Studies. The applicant should already hold a Ph.D. degree, show outstanding research potential, have classroom experience and be prepared to teach Master´s-level courses in comparative history as part of a graduate programme. The normal teaching load at CIDE is one course per semester. Reasonable fluency in Spanish is required.
