The INS Career Forum is open to all undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in international careers. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to network with local professionals and learn about careers in international business, government, and the non-profit sector.
Panelists will speak about the work their organizations do, the skills and qualifications they seek in new hires, how those skills are applied on the job, and what a career trajectory at their organization might look like – from entry level to upper management positions.

Americas Society/Council of the Americas Council of the Americas (COA) is an international business organization whose members share a common commitment to economic and social development, open markets, the rule of law, and democracy throughout the Western Hemisphere.

BuildOn is an international nonprofit working in the United States and throughout the world to increase access to education. Through service learning and school construction programs, BuildOn aims to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations.

CARE is an international humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity, and protect natural resources.

Educate Tomorrow is an international, nonprofit, certified 501(c)3 organization working in South Florida as well as Kabey Fo, Niger, to end cycles of poverty through mentorship and education.

Florida Association for Volunteer Action in the Caribbean and the Americas (FAVACA) establishes sustainable partnerships between non-governmental organizations, universities, government agencies and businesses in Florida with counterparts in the Caribbean and Latin America.

General Electric (GE) is a worldwide corporation and provider of products and services related to aviation, healthcare, lighting, consumer electronics, oil and gas, rail, energy, finance and others. GE’s goals are to make money, make it ethically, and make a difference through corporate social responsibility and citizenship.

International Business Machines (IBM) manufactures and sells computer hardware and software, and offers consulting services such as IT services, business consulting, outsourcing and services for specialized industries. IBM also has a robust and longstanding corporate citizenship and social responsibility mandate.

International Relief & Development (IRD) operates development programs in regions of the world that present social, political, and technical challenges; they focus particularly on helping communities affected by conflict and war.

IOS Partners, Inc. is an International Economic Development Consulting and Financial Advisory Firm providing targeted development assistance, economic reform, and poverty reduction services across a broad range of technical sectors.

Miami Council for International Visitors (MCIV) hosts the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), welcoming hundreds of distinguished visitors every year to South Florida enabling cultural connections and citizen diplomacy “one handshake at a time.”

ONE is a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and lobbying government decision-makers and private sector actors.

U.S. Department of State operates the diplomatic missions of the United States abroad and is responsible for implementing the foreign policy of the United States and U.S. diplomacy efforts.

U.S. Southern Command is responsible for providing contingency planning, operations, and security cooperation, it oversees the force protection of U.S. military resources in South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
