UNC-Wilmington Lecture in International Studies Position

The International Studies program and the University of North Carolina Wilmington are committed to fostering diversity in both our students and faculty. The International Studies Program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-eligible appointment in International Studies at the rank of lecturer starting August 2012.

Primary responsibility will be teaching the Introduction to International Studies course, although opportunities exist for teaching a topics-oriented course and for organizing and conducting study abroad sessions. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester.

A master’s degree is required, but the area of international specialization is open. Applicants are expected to have significant international experience, facility with a language other than English, interdisciplinary teaching experience, and display evidence of excellence in teaching. Salary will depend on qualifications.
