UNC-Wilmington Lecture in International Studies Position

The International Studies Program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-eligible appointment in International Studies at the rank of lecturer starting August 2012.

Primary responsibility will be teaching the Introduction to International Studies course, although opportunities exist for teaching a topics-oriented course and for organizing and conducting study abroad sessions. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester.

A master’s degree is required, but the area of international specialization is open. Applicants are expected to have significant international experience, facility with a language other than English, interdisciplinary teaching experience, and display evidence of excellence in teaching. Salary will depend on qualifications.
