UM Libraries Graduate Research Series

The University of Miami Libraries is offering a new round of the Graduate Research Series this fall.  Have you registered for the upcoming session?

Managing Your Research
Do you have a pile of papers waiting for you to search through for the latest on your area of research? Or worse, are you not keeping up? In this session, you will learn how to organize your information flow. You'll learn how to make the information that's important to you come to you automatically. We'll show you the tools you need to keep that information organized and accessible. We'll also cover copyright and plagiarism. Learn what you need to cite and what your rights are when people cite you.

ETD: Who, What, When, Where, How, Huh?
What is an Electronic Thesis/Dissertation? What software can I use to create an ETD? How can I keep it all straight? Come to this session to learn about the process of creating an ETD, from file management to publishing within the University of Miami's Scholarly Repository. This session is geared to answer your questions whether you are in the beginning of the process or at the end. The Libraries will provide a session online as well as two sessions in person. The online session will be recorded and placed online for those that are unable to attend.
